Bio
Throughout my childhood, I was always creating artwork in various medias. My experience and skills in art led me to receive many awards and recognitions throughout the South Texas / Coastal Bend area. Upon college, I was really interested in taking my art & critical-thinking skills further and apply them to new applications.
Within my second year at Texas State University, I applied & was accepted into the Communication Program. Then 3 years later, I graduated in May 2018 with a BFA in Communication Design. From my portfolio, one will get a glimpse of projects I worked on during my undergraduate career and my multi-media skillset. Areas of work show: art direction, graphics, branding / identity, print, visual, web, advertising, edg, packaging, illustration, etc.
With my experience in design and the interpersonal skills that I have acquired throughout my past employment/organizations--I believe it has set me apart from other designers. I have focused all of this through human-centered design. Not only can I easily connect with people, but I can show variety in styles for their desired products with ease.
I've always been the type of individual to be intrigued in learning new skills and listen/ experience life itself. This has helped me to stay connected with the ever-growing design world / society. To stay active, I do freelance design and some design work for my current employer. Also, I am currently enrolled in two online courses: web design & digital marketing.
In conclusion, I believe my vivacious personality, dedication, leadership, inquisitive nature, and love for design would be a great asset to any work environment. If you're interested in working with me, feel free to contact me! I look forward to chatting with you!
